In the teaser for "The Witcher: Blood Origin" on Netflix, a surreal, violent world is shown.

 

Henry Cavill, the hero of the primary show, is expected to leave Netflix's The Witcher franchise, which is going through some significant changes. However, a miniseries set in the same universe will premiere on the streaming site before Cavill's farewell in season three, and Netflix has provided yet another glimpse at it.

In the most recent teaser for The Witcher: Blood Origin, Michelle Yeoh's sword-elf Scian performs a ritual before scenes of death, destruction, and magic are displayed in strange, fantastical surroundings. The four-part miniseries takes place 1,200 years before The Witcher's events. A monster hunter with magical abilities, the first witcher will be created by Scian and her allies.

On December 25th, The Witcher: Blood Origin will be available on Netflix.
